Text messages from Sivuno Negotiation Lab

Negotiation Lab sends one-time passcodes by SMS to people who add their own mobile number to their account. Nothing promotional is ever sent to that number. This page sets out what to expect.

What we send

  • A sign-in code, when you choose to sign in with a text message.
  • A two-step verification code, when you have turned on SMS as your second step and sign in with a password or passkey.
  • A code to confirm a mobile number you add or change.
  • A code to reset your password, if you asked for one by text.

Example: Your Sivuno Negotiation Lab sign-in code is 123456.

How often, and what it costs

Messages are sent only when you request or trigger one, so the number varies with how often you sign in. Typically that is one message per sign-in. We send no marketing or promotional texts. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan.

Opting out and getting help

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving codes at that number. Reply HELP for help, or contact us through sivuno.com.

Before you opt out, check how you sign in. If a text message is your only second step, set up an authenticator app or turn two-step verification off first; otherwise your account will ask for a code it can no longer send, and you will need to contact us to regain access. If you sign in with a text-message code and have no other method, add a password or passkey first. Passwords, passkeys, email codes and authenticator apps all keep working after you opt out.

Your number and your privacy

Your mobile number is used only to deliver these codes. Mobile numbers and SMS consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Messages are delivered by our SMS provider on our behalf. See the privacy policy and terms of service.

How you opt in

You opt in by adding your own mobile number to your Negotiation Lab account when the sign-in flow asks for one, for example when you turn on text-message verification. Today that step runs on our sign-in service's hosted page, which collects the number with its own wording; these terms are linked from the Negotiation Lab web sign-in page and from this address, which every Negotiation Lab app will show before the hosted page. The card below is the notice Negotiation Lab will show when it collects a number itself.

Nobody can supply a number on your behalf. When Sivuno creates an account for your organisation, the invitation goes by email, and our messaging service refuses to text a temporary password. Nothing is sent to any number you did not add yourself.

Add a mobile number

We will text a code to confirm it.

By providing your mobile number you agree to receive one-time passcodes from Sivuno Negotiation Lab by SMS. Message frequency varies with your sign-in activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. See our SMS terms and privacy policy.
